ABOUT
Attitude is Everything is a charity that improves deaf and disabled people’s access to live music. It does this by working with audiences, artists and the music industry.
CELEBRITY SUPPORTERS
Artists like The Kooks, Bloc Party, and Kasabian, support their work.
AIMS
Their aim is to implement their Charter of Best Practice across the UK, by building equality into all music venues’ values. The award is in 3 stages, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each stage has a clear action plan and offers advice on how to achieve each one. It is designed to go beyond the legality of the Equality Act and provide a fair and equal service.
The ethos of the Charter is that deaf and disabled people should be as independent as they want to be at live music events and over 125 venues and festivals have already signed up.
PAST WORK
They have worked with Festival Republic and Ground Control on all of their UK festivals, supporting Academy Music Group and National Arena Association venues to sign up to the Charter, and they also work with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to use the Charter as an event standard for all festivals taking place in Victoria Park.
